Mission Center
South Central States Mission Center, Springfield, Missouri is an
administrative division of the Community of Christ serving
congregations in southwest Missouri, southeast Kansas,
northwest Oklahoma, and northern Arkansas. A limited number
of Mission Center scholarships is available to camping activities
sponsored by the Mission Center.
Camp Ozark
Ozark Camp and Retreat Center, Racine, Missouri is also known
as Camp Ozark and as Racine. In addition to camps for children,
youth and adults of member congregations, it hosts corporate
and private events such as retreats and weddings.
Camping Registration
The Community of Christ recommends that an Event Release
Form be used in addition to local registration forms.
Children and Youth Ministries
The Community of Christ requires all persons directly involved in
ministry to children and youth be trained and registered. This
includes Sunday school teachers, camp counselors, trip and
event chaperons, and vacation Bible school workers.
International headquarters of the Community of Christ,
Independence, Missouri provides tools for ministry including
activities, services, and publications for volunteers, worship,
Christian education, peace and justice, offertory helps, and
a camp resource library.
